Mr Adam McSwain

Adam McSwain commenced as CEO at Golden Plains Shire Council on 25 August 2025. Prior to this role he was the Director Infrastructure and Assets at Hume City Council  and previously held a General Manager (Chief Executive Officer) role at Edward River Council in New South Wales.

He holds a Master of Business Administration, Master of Politics and Public Policy and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Adam is passionate about the work of Local Government and brings extensive leadership experience having worked across rural, regional and metropolitan Councils.
